CUPCAKE WITH CHILI PEPPER


Have you ever woken up one day feeling like preparing a very different dessert in the kitchen? A cupcake with pepper maybe? Too exotic? Not at all! Too delicious! In fact, you will gather two intense passions, which are chocolate and pepper, and potentiate them in your recipe. You will rock!

Ingredients

Dough:
2 Cups of Wheat Flour
1 Cup of Sugar
1/2 Cup of Salted Butter
1/2 Cup of Table Cream with 1 tablespoon of Vinegar
1/4 Cup of Water
1/4 Cup of Alkaline Cocoa Powder
1 Tablespoon of Vanilla Extract
1 Teaspoon of Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda
2 eggs
Filling:
1 or 2 (as you wish) ‘Dedo-de-moça’ pepper (Capsicum Baccatum)
120ml of Sour Cream
200g of chopped Dark Chocolate

Instructions

Dough:
After boiling the water, mix the cocoa and let it cool for 30 minutes.
Then, add the baking powder, baking soda and flour and sieve twice.
In the mixer, mix the sugar and butter at medium speed for about 2 minutes.
Gradually add the eggs, mixing one by one.
Add the cocoa mixture, vanilla and sour cream, and mix for another 1 minute.
Add the flour and mix for 1 minute. Scrape the sides and mix for another 30 seconds.
Pour the dough into the cupcake molds and place them in a preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
After taking the cupcakes out of the oven, leave them in the molds for at least 5 minutes.
Filling:
Cut the pepper(s) in half and remove as many seeds as you can (the more seeds the spicier it will be).
Add the pepper to the table cream and boil the mixture, then sieve to mix with the chocolate.
Stir well and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Then, stir again so that the chocolate fully.
Let it rest for at least 2 hours before applying onto the cupcakes.
NEW TASTES FOR SALADS

​Who would guess that the combination chocolate & pepper can also be used on salads. This different sauce will be a delight for you. Yes, pepper goes well with olive oil and everyone knows that, but today we are going to dare: add to the mixture a little bit of dark chocolate.

Pout pepper or ‘dedo de moça’ Pepper (capsicum baccatum)
Two tablespoons of olive oil
150g of dark chocolate
You can melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and add it to the olive oil and chopped pepper (into pieces and without the seeds).
Then, just pour it onto your salad and savor it!
BOLDNESS IN DRINKS

How about combining the unmistakable taste of chocolate with the strength of chili pepper in a super drink?
Start mixing:

3 tablespoons of condensed milk
3 chocolate ice cream scoops
Also mix
​
1 teaspoon of chili pepper sauce
6 tablespoons of table cream
1 shot of tequila
Ice and chocolate syrup as you wish.

In the blender, mix the ice cream with the ice, add the other ingredients and finally the tequila. Blend it very quickly and serve. This is an aphrodisiac drink!
